How to spice up your Twitter Follower mails

Do you prefer the left, enriched version of the Twitter follower mail to the naked default version on the right?

If so, take the following steps:

  1. go to http://twimailer.com/
  2. Fill out the email address where you want to get your enhanced Twitter mails:
    Fill out your email at twimailer.com
  3. Get your Twimailer.com email
    Get your Twimailer.com forward address
  4. Put a forwarding rule on your incoming Twitter follower messages so they will be forwarded your Twimailer.com email address
  5. If necessary, put an email filter rule on your inbox to skip your default Twitter follower messages
  6. Done

Do NOT, as Twimailer.com suggests, change the email addres in your Twitter account by your Twimailer.com account! That comes down to handing over your Twitter account to the owner of the Twimailer.com domain2.

  2. who _could_ stop mail forwarding and have a password reset link mailed to himself.  Or, other scenario, your account could become inaccessible if you need to reset your pswd and Twimailer has stopped working [↩]
